If you voted for Trump, you support him & you own him forever. Fuck your "safe space"

1: Don't talk in absolutes, of course there are issue that arise from private and volunteer fire departments

2: The US subsidies pretty much all Wal-mart employees through a variety of socialist programs because Wal-mart refuses to pay a living wage. People have a huge problem with this so it's really weird that you're not aware of it. When you do the math, you see that if we stopped subsidizing JUST Wal-mart, no other corporation, we could pay for nationwide healthcare for every US citizen. We're feeding and housing the vast majority of Wal-mart employees as a matter of course. It's ridiculous.

So stop subsidizing them......"OH CAN'T DO THAT!!! WE LOVE OUR WELFARE!!!"

The left, you and the other Democratic Socialist out there are the only dumb fuckers subsidizing Wal Mart.

I hope you realize that there are SEVERAL "private" fire departments in the US.
There are always municipalities willing to experiment. Didn't seem to work too well in Westchester Co NY when a $1,000,000 home was destroyed by fire in '98 because the private fire company couldn't provide enough firefighters. Seems they couldn't keep them for $5.50/hr.

I also hope you're informed enough to know that SOME fire departments are staffed only by volunteers. There seem to be no problems with those.
And your point is?
When I was a volunteer firefighter I wasn't working for a private firefighting company. I've never known a firefighter who volunteer for a private company.

The police and fire depts are public services. Just like with public schools there are also private counterparts. But all of that is beside the point because we're not talking about serving the public at large when we're talking about TSA. In that particular case we're talking about gov employees doing what is essentially private security work for a handful of mega companies with operations in a lot of different locations.
 Maybe you've never flown, but it's primarily the "public at large" who flies.

In contrast: Does the US Gov provide security/door greeters for Walmart? Without looking up the stats, one could generally say that Walmart is probably on the same level economically as American Airlines and most likely has more business locations. Violent crime is also common at Walmart including in the stores and the parking areas. Yet the Gov doesn't provide "hall monitors" for them.
Talk to me when a group blows up 4 walmarts forcing the closure of every place of business in the country.

Talk about a "dumb fucker". LMAO
Yeah, all the towns and cities that give Walmart 100's of millions of dollars in subsidies every year are all run by democratic socialists.

This is not the government's problem. There's a REASON that there are "mutual aide" compacts between agencies. If that company (and the homeowners that authorized said company) was stupid enough to not enter into one, then fuck 'em.

And your point is?

And your point is? Specifically YOU aren't the sole fount of knowledge here. In fact, you seem to be lacking in several areas of knowledge regarding the obligations of private industry vs municipalities.

 Maybe you've never flown, but it's primarily the "public at large" who flies.

No, AIRLINE PASSENGERS fly on commercial airlines. That they may be members of the general public is irrelevant to the fact that they're CUSTOMERS of the airlines. As a member of the GP I don't have to go through a Government paid security guard checkpoint to walk down the street. (BTW, before you go getting your panties in a bunch and try to argue something that isn't true - the police have NO OBLIGATION to protect you. Nor does the Fire Dept. The police can stand there and watch you get murdered and there is no requirement they do anything. The FD can watch your house burn and you have NO RECOURSE because there is no requirement they do ANYTHING. Thus "the police" aren't equivalent.)

Talk to me when a group blows up 4 walmarts forcing the closure of every place of business in the country.

Would a bank robbery be more illuminating to the discussion? The Gov doesn't employ bank security guards and under your theory, the "general public" are the bank's patrons, so why isn't the Gov protecting them from harm with "Bank Security Screeners"?

Your entire theory doesn't wash. The Gov made a special exception that doesn't comport with ANY other private industry. Comparisons to police and Fire Depts don't match because those aren't "private industries".

Yet here we are, using taxpayer money to support security guards for the airlines. Again, why?

Fertilizer is regulated. So are empty rental trucks.

LOl. ANYONE can go rent a Ryder or U-Haul. All that's required is to show your D/L.

And I can go to ANY home store or garden shop and buy as much fertilizer as I want. All I have to say is that I'm re-doing my yard and hand over the CC. Worse, I can go direct to the Fertilizer manufacturer and fill an entire SEMI TRUCK. All I need are the bills of lading for the sale and they'll even help me load it. A little diesel fuel and an alarm clock and...

And here's the best part - Botany Boy's business is/was fertilizer. Ask him if there are "FSA (Fertilizer Safety Act) security guards" at the entrance to his customer counter.

Go ahead, ask him. I'm sure he'll enjoy the belly laff.

BTW, does anyone here think a 2 tanker-truck tanks full of gasoline won't make a wonderful bonfire when it's rammed into a building at 60 mph? You think it's that difficult to buy some of those plastic water storage drums and fill them from the tank of your pickup with the gas you bought at the local gas station?

Or what about a half a dozen welding gas cylinders full of hydrogen gas in the back of a chevy van purchased/rented from your local welding supply store?

Where's the Gov paid security goons for those businesses?

Every state has a fertilizer act regulating the sale and use. I wonder why? Obviously our resident lawyer doesnt know, and has never tried to buy a ton.

Of course, the in-house DIY production joke here is that homeboy never has to buy fertilizer.

Here's a good reason why (other than monumental stupidity) as to why the faux news koolaid drinkers are so uninformed.

Ooh... look at the pretty faces.

Lol.

Every State also has a law regulating the sale and use of firearms and ammunition. Obviously, no one EVER violates those laws and shoots someone.

Like I said, all it takes is going to the home improvement store and buying it. How many of such stores are in your city? Can you buy 10 bags this week at one store, 5 bags next week at another? Does anyone check if you bought some yesterday at a store across town? Can anyone trace this back to you if you pay cash?

And, of course you know that almost every WMD attack was done by a group of people and not 1 person acting alone. How much fertilizer do you think 5 people can buy in a week if they spread their purchases across a geographic area the size of Kansas?

And, like I said, all it takes to fill a semi-truck is a bill of sale for the goods, a shipping manifest, and backing into the loading dock. Do you know how hard it is to generate a bill of sale? Start your own company, get a business license, order the goods, and pay for the inventory you need to operate that business. Then hire a trucking company to ship it to you.

Because, you see, "the law" against misusing fertilizer isn't going to STOP someone. It's only going to be used as the basis for the warrant needed to follow the breadcrumbs after the fact. Just like most laws against criminal behavior don't stop crimes, they only allow the State to point the finger of guilt afterward.

One. There's one home improvement store in my city. It's Lowes and I hate them, but they know they have me by the balls.

And you're put into a system when you buy fertilizer- that's why they ID you. Just like you're IDed when you buy cough syrup because it's used to make meth. If you run around buying shittons of fertilizer the cops show up and ask you why. You know this, Harpy. Good lord.

But this, "illegal things happen" is a new mindset for you and I'm glad to see you having some character growth. If you'd take that same mindset and apply it to institutionalized discrimination and sexual assault, you'd have a HUGE growth spurt. Almost as if we poured fertilizer on your character.

Like I said, all it takes is starting a business and seeming legit and you get a pass. Or 5 guys can buy a LOT of fertilizer and no cops show up because it's not one person. Paying cash and fake ID's can get you a long way down the road around the checks. You think fake ID's are hard to come by for migrants?

The whole system is based on the same system used to regulate sugar. High sugar purchases in certain areas of the country are an indicator of illegal moonshining activity. They still can't catch the moonshiners most of the time.

Lastly, Ad Hom is not an argument. You can do better.

No.... the welfare they and many others take advantage of?

You know, the topic of the conversation?

Are.

Crimineeee, Lowes (or anywhere else) doesn't card anyone for ID when buying fertilizer. Unless maybe you buy it a pallet at a time. I've bought plenty there.

Around here you can buy it by the semi truck load without question. Diesel? No problem. How much do you want? 500, 1,000 gallons? You can also buy Anhydrous Ammonia and a few other things. Trucks drive down our highways and back roads with Ammonium Nitrate mixed with Diesel, all mixed and ready to go. THAT you have to have permits for and it's destined for the various quarries. But if a turdbag knew which one, they could snag a whole truck with little effort.

Anyone who took chemistry past HS should be able to go into just about any generic home goods or hardware store and build quite a nasty bomb.

You guys better be careful with all that poop and truck talk, that part of the government that pays attention to that stuff just got their funding back.

I guess they just hate me then. They want my ID AND a phone number. I don't know my own phone number. I have to look it up on my phone every fucking time.
