I received this one recently to the final chapter in an 8-chapter story. This chapter was the shortest of all of them.

I'm trying to wrap my head around why one would read an 8-chapter story if one felt this way about it. I don't understand readers.

The previous comment to the exact same story was

Stunningly brilliant story, start to finish.

So, I wasn't too chagrined by the negative comment. It's one of my highest rated and most viewed stories.
