We've become a forum of library ushers, and little else.

I got the "check out the library" comment too when I first joined and started posting here but I actually appreciated that. I could go and read up on stuff instead of having to start a million threads asking the same questions. I don't visit this forum nearly as much as I used to when I first joined (because the GB is now feeding my current bout of manic depressive insanity...heh), but I do still like to check in here from time to time. I am amazed at how long the "strap-on" thread has gone. Pretty cool actually.

WriterDom, I'll gladly start a "fluff" thread for ya anytime hon. Just say the word and I will obey. ;)

I did too. When I joined the search function wasn't functioning, and when it did start to function, it still couldn't do a search on less than four letters. I was a bit intimidated by the amount of info in the library, though. I confess I did occasionally ask for a link from someone than go through the virtual card catalog up there! Or if someone said "so and so started a thread on that sometime ago." I'd search for threads/post by user instead. But then again, I'm such a geek that when I know a person is known for their wit and wisdom, I'll go and do the same thing looking for something to read.

Erm, what exactly are you trying to say here?

Ignore Brinnie. She's a 14-year-old twit who's constantly starting idiotic threads on the General Board. (ok, maybe twit is a harsh word but she is 14 and they tend to be "twitish" at that age)

I just figured out your avatar photo, yippy for me, I deserve a cookie for paying attention for once. I bet there isn't a library correlation for that.

Are you serious? If she really is 14, she needs to be reported to the mods ASAP. :(
