🎵 Monthly Song Challenge 🎵

Playing catch up but: Day 4, a country song:

Admittedly, 'modern' country doesn't do a whole hell of a lot for me. Probably because my grandfather, on his old AM radio, would keep it tuned to a steady stream of older time country, and so Cash, Jennings, Willie, etc, were what I learned growing up, even if it didn't end up being one of my main types of music.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder On The Dancefloor
One of the most beautiful people on Earth. Like, not even thirsting, it's just an objective fact. Gah. And that voice... She did these little "live from my kitchen" shows on instagram during lockdown and it's insane how she can keep a perfect tune with a bunch of rugrats trying to climb into frame and trip her.

Ren - Violet's Tale
Think it was MLAS or Enby who introduced me to Ren but holy crap his verse is really straight from the heart. Such an incredible talent!
