🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

Thank you so much for this challenge!!

Right now, I am dripping with sweat, smiling so widely.. We did a whole month.
Normally, I not share my updates or talk so much about working out.
I found that this little community, our cool sweaters group, it made it fun!

And I am grateful for this place, knowing that if/when I lose motivation.. or just need someone to spare with: there will be someone here!

That is no easy feat!

Thank you dearest SB ❤️
Sweaty kisses 💋😽

Love the sweat

YAY we made it through the month! I had bruised ribs and was off my PT game for a week and a half but in the end I managed to meet my cycling goal for the month by biking my ass off the last 3 days. Happy Thursday sweaters!

Good Morning, Sweaters!!
You did it!!

Take a moment and think back over the last month. Where did you start? What was your original goal and how did you do? The fact that you’re still here and still thinking about your workout or healthy eating, or whatever your goal was, is a victory in itself The change starts one step at a time and you just took 31 steps! :)
I think I did pretty well, actually. I created a schedule and stuck to it. So, I liked the written down thing, I altered days once or twice, but I didn't miss. I (mostly) listened to my body, too.

And... I'm setup for the next twelve weeks. I joined a club and have a coach. I'll be getting a plan to get to some new goals. It's awesome and I'm excited.

So... Thank you, @Love_Is_Blonde, this was awesome for me and I quite like it here. Thanks to the great community in this thread, too, everyone being so open and supportive is very helpful and makes it fun. You all rock!

This is a new community for me. I don't post often, but I do check in regularly and am always inspired by the effort everyone is putting in to work on themselves.

Thanks to all of you for being that inspiration.

Good morning All

Taking my oldest to college has me thinking about all the gym perks I had in college. Free access to a state of the art gym. Free personal trainers. A huge pool. Free group exercise classes. Man, I was spoiled. Now everything is so expensive. My work technically has a gym that we can use for free but it is waaay across the county. Not convenient at all.

Does anyone have gym perks through work or somewhere else?

Hi Everyone,

The past 4 or 5 days were very hectic and I wasn't able to keep up my routine. Had a bit of a lie in this morning and, thanks to being strongly caffeinated, I'm ready to start again. Stretching, medium paced cardio, light weights, and finishing with more stretching.

Easing back in... will push harder tomorrow.

Hope your day is great!

Good evening!

It is time to unwind a bit and settle in, I managed to go for a 8,5 km walk today.
The weather is absolutely splendid and I am positively dipped in sunscreen!

My tendon has been flaring up a bit, I know "I need to take it slow, a partial ruptured Achilles tendon takes time... A. Lot. Of. Time!"

So, no gym today.. But a brisk walk about 6 km/hour (a little less).
... How is my tendon... Not particularly loving me.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But!! It has been a rather great day, time to wash off the sunscreen and get those feet up!

I really need new shoes!! The absorbing effect is really horrible.. Well, they lasted 4 months.

How do you guys deal with wanting to eat more when exercising more? 💪

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t exercise to look good, I do it so I can eat more! 🍱

But when the eating more results in weight gain, how do you curb your appetite?

Tea!!! Because.. even though there are studies, saying that exercising reduces the ghrelin production.. and it might do..

I am still hungry.. !

In my case.. it varies though, I have periods.. Where hunger is non existing.. And then periods, where you better feed me.. Good... Before even imagining talking with me.

Tea. Lots of different kinds of tea.. personally, I am a huge fan of the Pukka brand. 🥰

I'm not the one who has any perks through work. But since my husband is in the military, our membership to our gym, is a nice price for us. And it allows us if we travel to visit other locations.

I know.. but, it is so hard!! Still.. yes, I do know.. the doc said a year.. the PT said at least a year.. it has been 5 months already, and.. I just want my tendon back!! 🙈😅❤️
Longer to go!!!! You will take 2 steps forward and many back if you don't listen to your Dr and PT person.;)

My work has a gym but I choose another that I pay for because they have a 25m pool and a sauna. My plan is to go back there again.

Good morning Sweaters!

Last night I wrapped up a 21-day yoga toning challenge through Asana Rebel. I really enjoyed each workout as it incorporated yoga, keeping it low impact, and bursts of cardio and strength training. I can see a slight difference in my waist, but I notice my shoulders have toned more than anything, and I have more flexibility and mobility in my mid and upper back. 😍

I'm looking for another challenge on this app to begin today, or maybe I'll start this one over again.

I did my first... Admittedly, very careful, very gentle.. But still:

I ran for the first time after the tendon rupture!! 🙌🏻🤩
It was an extremely short run, on the treadmill, with a coach observing. 🤣 But nevertheless, I ran!!
I am not to walk bare feet, at all, my tendon cannot handle that kind of pressure.

But, progress is progress!

Wuhuuuuuuuuuu!!!!! 🥳
