Female Lit authors: How much unsolicited sexual advances have you dealt with as a result of your writing?

Yep. Guys aren’t immune here. I have one or two (probably) ladies who occasionally bug me about potential hookups. It’s likely due to “swinger” in my profile, and that I write about swinging.

No pix, tho’. And I’m not looking for pix, either. Ugh.

I hope the ladies don't mind a few of us men posting within your thread. If you do, I apologize.

With that being said, I've actually had quite a few messages from people wanting to either just innocently chit-chat, or that make it very clear that they're interested in some kind of deeper connection. (To be fair, it does say that I am single on my profile.)

Most women that have contacted me have been respectful, but one started out nice just commenting on a story, and when I replied, she sent me a picture of her... Well, everything. Just like that. I think Lit attracts some lonely and certainly some horny people, so it isn't entirely strange I suppose. Sure felt odd though.

All I can say here is that writing more stories like 'that' one might be a splendid idea.

Well I got my first request for nude photos last night as a result of my writing. I was offered a fairly high amount, but I politely declined as I refuse to be known as a woman who sells pictures of her tits online.

That led me to think about him many sexual advances I've delt with (as a direct result of my writing).

So far, I can recall roughly

1 request for nude photos.
1 uncomfortable request for "more" photos, although nudity was never specifically mentioned.
1 dick pic.
Maybe about 5-6 requests for sexual roleplay/sexting (in spite of the fact that my bio clearly states that I'm not interested in roleplay with fans).

That's honestly not that bad, considering I've been at this for a year or so.

I'm curious to know how much of this solicitation other female authors have dealt with (guys are welcome to chime in with relevant anecdote as well, I suppose).
Although I have never actually revealed my gender. I share that only with people I trust.
I have received numerous requests for contact, role play, sexting. The usual stuff.
I was a little offended by some of it.
What annoys me is. There is some expectation. Because I write stories on a porn site. I'm available...
Some of them are quite comical.
I had to laugh at the guy who sent me

I had to laugh at the guy who sent me a message saying. ""How would you like me to come round, bend you over the arm of your sofa and fuck uyou with my big cock?"
Cheeky bastard, as if I was letting him near my chesterfield....
There have been others, which I didn't laugh at. Like the bloke who only wrote a few words, no introduction, no hello. Just... "Do you take it up the ass?"
I wasn't sure so I replied. "What, suppositories?"
I guess we are only there for their entertainment....

Cagivagurl.

That's a brilliantly hilarious line. I encourage you to use that in a story. 😁

In about 8 years here, maybe a dozen or so, but nothing I considered particularly offensive. Just guys trying it in, and no harm, no foul. Nobody has ever been persistent. I do appreciate the odd dick pic though. Usually I look at them and contemplate my good fortune in my husband. LOL. I do refuse to hurt peoples feelings by commenting though. I appreciate the tributes to my story writing LOL

I do get crossovers to Facebook, and I've had to block a few people on Facebook who wouldn't take no, or who persisted with offensive messages. But again, blocking is easy and deals with the problem there. I'm a one strike, you get warned kind of person, and if anyone is silly enough to go for two, they're gone....

Some of the ones my wife has shown me that she has gotten on twitter has her saying "You're proud of that?" FFS grab a cock pic online and use it as a stunt dick.

What's sad is her social media account not only has no racy pics of her, but is mostly inspirational type memes and quotes and animal pics. Her AV is just a pic of her face, and somehow she still gets these things.

Its disheartening to her that she's lucky to get a handful of likes or retweets on the positive messaging, but the time my sister dared her to post a pic of her feet after a pedicure with her toes painted purple received 700+ likes, a bunch of retweets and led to quite a few offers to 'paint her toes' and two tribute pics where someone did.

And it was only up for four days before she deleted it.

I keep telling her she could make a lot of money selling feet pics, but she won't go for it.

Prig.

I commented in these forums for the first time yesterday and I've gotten chat requests from random men. To be fair to them, I did comment in one of the sexier forums, so it's honestly my mistake. Some of them are friendly and just want to chat, but some of them are downright aggressive. It kind of surprised me a bit.

I've never received any unsolicited sexual advances anywhere on Literotica since creating my account and publishing my first four stories here in July of 2021.

For the record, my profile has consistently displayed that I'm female and single. And judging based on my stories, I'm also not a lesbian. But, I've also never had a sexy profile pic, nor did I ever provide my location.

Yes, it's protonmail, they have a setting where once a day it will notify your "recovery email" if you received new messages
another shoutout to proton mail - I migrated there from gmail after one too many "fuck you you can't log in because you're from a new ip address and we're going to force you to doxx yourself to gain access"

Proton is very low effort. I like it.

I wish I could help you with a "relevant antidote." LOL.

There have been a handful of occasions in the last seven years where a female Lit user approached me, offered to have a sexy chat, and sent me a few nude pics. It's rare. I've never dealt with any one doing so in a rude way.

As an aside, I’ve been surprised by the number of forum people who don’t appear to be on Lit for the stories. They seem to just like using forums?

I discovered this as well. I've been messaged and people asking "what are you into". I respond with "the stuff I write about" and the response is often, "you write stories? I'll have to check them out."

I actually think there's a (unorganized) contingent of people who use this forum/website as a dating site. That's why you sometimes see "m" or "f" in their "interested in:" taglines on their profiles on story side, because they think it's asking for sexual preference instead of for literally what it is their interests are.

I’m a man, but I too have suffered from sexual harassment karma. A reader once asked me to write a story where a female cop was kidnapped and raped. I refused due to incompatibility of kinks. My own mother once falsely accused our live-in maid of sexually abusing me in front of my sister and her three children, two of whom were toddlers at the time. This was regarding a woman our family had not seen in almost three decades, mind you, and my mother does suffer from malignant narcissism and other forms of dementia.

Meanwhile my ex wife told me she was turned on by my writings at times and my sister has said she “doesn’t need to know” about them (she did appreciate it when I told her, however, and when I assured her I’m not a pedophile).

I haven’t had a request for nude photos of myself yet. I’d probably submit an appropriate Playgirl centerfold if I did. ;)

"They write about sex, they must be easy!" or something like that I suppose.
