Can we go back to when Jaime was talking about getting hard and it's a good day? I love when he has a good day. *sighs dreamily*

Hi, Tal and Brainy!

It's definitely not worth 15 years, but I would slip you a file in a gateaux!

Being complicated is a great compliment from Tal. You know you're really special to her when she calls you "Oi".:D

*waits* Come on girl, come on... Oh and if you could put whipped cream on your nipples, that'd be great.

I didn't have any whipped cream, so I dipped them in Weetabix. :D

Fucking hell.........

That about sums it up!

Ok, I have to go feed the humans who reside in this house, then am oot for the evening, so I'll see yas tomorrow

BFG - you're so kind! I'll put you down for conjugal visits. :D

I'm in ze bath at the moment and there's a lack of signal in the bathroom so I'm just disappearing for a bit!

Hi BFG.... You know me.... I'm a shy boy at heart.

A bit cold for erections at the moment, unless one has plenty of trouser room.

Conjugal visits? The kicked me out of juggling school. I was never really very good at tossing balls.

(Is it bad that I'm making myself laugh?)

Oh, yes, very shy *nods*

Innocent as the day is long. *nods*

Everyone keeps talking about the cold. It will be 70 again today, I have the front door open to air out the house.

Saying things like really don't help. And there was I going to send you a smutty PM....

LMAO That's better.....I feel hornier already,,,,,

Evening Jaime, bfg, just drifting by and finding the standard of spring is as high as it ever was, if not higher! Cream on nipples (I know, it’s brainy again), erections and conjugal visits... what fun!

Hope you are both fit and well, bfg - I did see that the east coast has had some massively low temperatures, and 70 deg F is a hot summers day up ‘ere!!

😀

Have a good night out!

Hope you aren't plugged into the mains......

It's been a fairly good day *nods*

I have lived all over the US, and I know winter and bitter cold is terrible. One winter, it was 9° for so long, when it warmed up for 20° we were shoveling snow in shirt-sleeves.

This is why I moved back to SoCal.

Okay, what KIND of football are we talking about here?

⚽ or 🏈

Morning all, and hey bfg - its interesting how US temperatures are still in Fahrenheit, whereas we have largely migrated to Centigrade it seems. I set off cycling before Christmas without realising it was -7 deg C, about 19 F apparently, so the idea of that being warm resonates...!

As for the choice of balls, so to speak, then you posted a football and a rugby ball so only one kind of football over here... :D

Having said that, the oval ball game here is so much better than the round one!

I prefer rugby to soccer as well. I used to be a hooker, d'ya know? :D

I'm drawing my judgement as much from my observations of behaviour off the field as much as on it. I used to be a regular at a rugby club, and I could count on convivial after-match conversation and gentlemenly behaviour from the rubgy players who had previously been trying to tear off each other's bits. I can't say the same, unfortunately, for when the venue was hired out to football (soccer) players. :(

Spot on, the respect for the officials, the lack of arguing with the sin bin... give me rugby any day!

I broke my jaw playing full back at age 14, stuck to individual sports since 😒🚴*♀️

I played mixed and girls only hockey. The girls game was very rough and the mixed was slower and enjoyable. ;)

I went to an all boys birthday party and played soccer. They soon told me to get off! I was kicking the ball in the wrong direction.

Just to be awkward, I'll say an Aussie Rules Football 🏉 ;)

Sorry for the extremely late reply - I actually totally forgot all about Lit last night.

Good afternoon Lucy and Mindfondler. :)

Edit: And Tinglebliss :)

Hockey always struck me as more dangerous and rough tha other sports, the hardness of the ball feigtensbthe pants off me!!

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen

Ok, so over breakfast this morning my husband told me about a facebook post that one of his friends shared. It was a mother who was boasting about teaching her 6 yr old son how to treat women. Once a month, he (the child) takes his mother out for a meal, and uses his hard-earned chore money to pay for the meal. Information below in the comments section reveals that she (the mother) believes that men should always pay for the date.

So, is this embedding positive discrimination? Or is it a good thing that young boys are being taught to be "gentlemen"?

I think that this is wrong. I think that all children should be brought up to treat each other equally and respectfully, regardless of gender. But is this realistic? Is there place for this kind of teaching?

Hey

Well I've always been taught to pay for a lady - it's respectful. I can see how women feel though - wanting to pay their way. Like sneaking off to the toilets and paying the bill before you return. :p

When I go through a door, I hold it open for men as well as women. It's just the polite thing to do.

Hey

I do have sympathy for you male species, as there isn't a "standard" rule to play by. Some women - like myself, as you know, prefers an equal footing, while others do (as FB shows) do like to be treated as a 'lady'. My stance is not to say that I'd never let a man pay, but I'd want to pay sometimes. Haha! You're never going to let that go, are ya? :p The way I see it, why should a dude stump the bill, just cos he's a dude? If I have more money than him (shocking!) then I'd feel guilty that he has to use what little he has just because it's expected?

This was at school. The girls did make it dangerous and I use to stay on the sideline. With the mix group it was safe to join in and tackle to ball. ;)

I'll let it go eventually - when I buy the next one... deal?

I get what you mean. However even if it wasn't expected, I'd still like to do it. T'is a personal thing and a way of showing that in return for a person's lovely company, paying for dinner is my way of saying thank you.

However like you say, children should be taught to be respectful to everyone regardless of gender. I once listened to a radio talk show whilst I was driving and a woman called in to complain that when she was out on a date, the man opened the door for her but also waited for a couple of others to walk through, leaving her stood alone. She was promptly laughed off the air and too-right.

You paid for the last one! What was it, yorkshire pudding in a bun??? Let it go! :D

Hmm, so basically... the person who enjoyed it the most should pay? :p

I know I'm a bit "too independent", and that this feeds into everything. This is why I genuinely don't know if it should be a good thing to be teaching boys this. But I have issue with the term "gentleman" anyway, as it's been my experience that many men who label themselves as this, think it's about the stuff like kissing hands, opening doors, etc. But they often fall at the hurdles that matter: like actual respect and real thoughtfulness. So, what IS being a gentleman? To open the door for a woman he's with and no-one else (esp other men!)?
