awright now ... what about those of us who arent sports minded? if im not behind the wheels, on the skis, riding the bike, in the boat, up to bat, blitzing the QB, then im either online, reading, or watching a movie. and i dont read the paper, watch TV <no cable, antenna, or satellite>, and when a commercial comes on the radio i change channels.

Well the Wings should be able to win tonight because as much as the Canes say they are still in this you can hear the defeat in their voices already they know they will not win this series..In Detroit we are already planning the big parade for the wings I hope it goes as smooth as the others have..The parade for the wings is good for my city because when almost 1 million people get together there should be trouble and both times were totally trouble free..So did the Lakers win yet did they sweep ummm the nets I believe is who they played..Here in detroit it looks like we will have to wait for Scotty to make his decsion on retiring or coming back plus Dom is still being quite on the subject..

Looks like I will have to start watching Baseball sop I can keep this thread alive for awhile I should of just called it Knights sports page..I have had a few Emails in my pm box telling me this is a site for sex not sports so I tells them if this is a sex site then go fuck yourself because this is a site for meeting people for me not cybering ..I find the whole cyber thing about boring as hell plus it is to hard to type with one hand..

The Lions have released Charlie Batch and Herman Moore it seems to me they want to get rid of any kind of talent they might have I think they are following the Tigers mentallity get rid of the good players and try to make it sound like they are rebuilding..Although I can understand the Tigers getting the shaft because the owner of the wings also owns the tigers and guess who gets the better payroll but in detroit I think most people would rather see a good hockey game verus a good snooze ball game..Yes I am rambling on and on but hey my thread deal with it...so who drinks around here and if you do whats your favorite drink ..I am a beer man or whiskey and most times both together..I like Bud and Jim Beam...Ok I will shut up for now..

Yes, I agree that the Wings SHOULD win the Cup tonight, but the 'Canes might be able to pull off another victory.

Talk about PEACEFUL crowds!! When the Rangers finally won the Stanley Cup in 1994, there were no problems (except maybe a few drunken fans falling off lamp posts!), and the parade was just exceptional! I don't think violence or destruction is any way for folks to celebrate.

Can't concentrate on basefall quite yet. Still getting over the "shock" of former Islanders and Bruins and Sabres leading the Rangers next season. At least they're cute to look at!

OH...

My preferred drink lately is Parrot Bay rum and diet coke! Otherwise, I like Canadian Club and ginger ale. Beer is always good too.

Wow, two nights in a row. Great wins by two great teams! First the Lakers sweep the Nets in 4 for their 3 peat and then the Wings win the cup tonight in 5. Great game by the WIngs tonight. Like the Lakers they know how to close out a series. I think this was Scotty Bowman's 8th or 9th series clinching win in row. I think he made the right decision to announce his retirement right away. Otherwise he will be answering questions every day.

Way to go Lakers! Way to go Wings!

I was happy to see Luc get to finally touch the cup it was also nice to see Dom get the finale piece of his puzzle the one thing he didn't have yet..The parade will be a blast it has been a great experiance from the first one to the second and now I hope we do Detroit proud with this one..

It was a great post-season overall, and I'm pleased that Scotty got to smile and skate around with the Cup; he's the best! (It was his 9th Stanley Cup, breaking Toe Blake's record.)

Congrats to the Wings and their fans. It was a great series and the Canes, should be proud. No one gave them a chance to get past NJ let alone make it to the final. It was a great season and I for one can't wait for the new one to begin.
