Let Me Be a Ghost

Kristoffer Gildenlow

New music from Daniel Gildenlow's (Pain of Salvation) younger brother. Sounds a lot like Daniel in a good way

I Want To Be Happy -- Stan Getz.

Stan plays music. Seals bark.

"From Beyond" was one of the first death metal albums I listened to and it has been rather instrumental in forming my tastes. I can appreciate the musicianship of the Obscura's or Cannibal Corpse's, but true enjoyment comes in the form of that particular double-bass steamroller groove you can headbang to for hours. Nice to see the old farts haven't lost their touch in that regard. Also, there are some brilliant touchesin this rather unpretentious piece of Lovecraft worship, like the beautiful Maiden-esque twin leads near the end. Totally stoked for the new album!

To my own surprise, the vocals are more hoarse shouting than outright grunts. So, litfan, maybe risk an ear, even if it's only for the last minute and a half. :)

Type O Negative - October Rust (album)

Wonderful record -save for that FUCKING joke track at the beginning of the record. Two minutes of static hum isn't fun.

Interlude for Erica -- Herb Alpert

Off the Beyond LP from the period where he had gone to the darkside (Disco), but this track is an exception. Like a lot of his better stuff, though, it's too short. At 3:29, it could easily be twice that.

I lent an ear.

Interesting in a very growly way

Three Dog Night

Hi, Litfan!
And hello, music lovers. I'm remembering the Druid on his birthday.
