Why is everything labeled as AI now????? I can't even post a story anymore.

The alternative is that your stories are stuck in the approval black hole for whatever reason that has trapped many others
Unless it traps all others, it's not "the alternative" as if that's the only one. Is it a risk? Sure, but

I object to being told all of the above isn’t real just because I’ve never been pinged for AI. Turning on other authors is not a smart move IMO.

It would be nice if that attitude would go both ways. Anyone who complains about their non-AI stories being flagged always gets responses amounting to "You're probably lying about not using AI, and if you're not then there is something wrong with your writing, since plenty of other stories are let through."

It happened on the first page of this thread, and did you object to that?

Exactly. Too many people here are automatically taking the side of a soulless algorithm over authors.

Anything that claims something written 20 years ago has in any percentage been generated by a LLM should be immediately dismissed as pure garbage no better than a magic 8-ball because it is undeniably, utterly wrong.

Please point out where I said that…

And it’s fucking hilarious you chose to go after me as opposed to the guy whose comments I was agreeing with 🤣.

then you need to look at precisely what your rejection notes say.
Before anything else, sorry for the negativity. If you don’t feel like reading a bit of a rant, feel free to skip this.

The feedback notes are always the same template. I’ve received that exact template 4–5 times out of the more than 10 times I’ve resubmitted my story over the past 7 months. During this time, I sent 2 feedback tickets, 2 emails, and 2 DMs, and I never received a single response to help me with this situation. Not one reply to any support message.

And I know I’m not the only one dealing with this problem. Why don’t they respond to feedback tickets at all?

At this point, I’m seriously considering removing my only story from here purely for ethical reasons. I don’t want them to earn even an infinitesimal fraction of a cent from the time I’ve invested in writing it. They don’t deserve it, at least based on what I’ve received here.

Sadly, people here believe Laurel can do no wrong. If anyone decides to chime in, they'll likely start drilling you about whether you were polite in your DMs and whether you're using AI tools to write your stories. It's always the same here.

As I said to the O.P., feel free to vent your frustration. I hope you manage to solve your problem. Maybe take a look at this thread https://forum.literotica.com/threads/practical-advice-for-dealing-with-ai-rejection.1648743/ and see if you can find any advice you might use to fix your situation.

But just don't expect much empathy in this place. You don't enter a church to criticize God and then hope for empathy from other people in the church. Humility is expected. ;)

Thanks. Well, in the past I’ve started writing a message like this and ended up deleting it because I didn’t want to be negative; in the end, they’re my problems, and I understand that some people don’t want to run into negativity. Anyway, today I felt like doing it. I’m very, very close, more so every day, to deleting my account. It’s a shame that there isn’t, in my opinion, a good place on the internet for erotic stories that has enough readers and writers.

I get it.

I’ve had total radio silence from the site for ages. Whether stuff to do with me or helping others.

All I meant is if the OP isn’t getting the “you used Grammarly” boilerplate, what are they getting? An equally generic “you used AI” or something else.

I’ve tried to help multiple people in this area over the last few months. And had no response from the site.

Their lack of responsiveness is why I don’t publish here any more.

Wow, what an absolute shit show this issue has become. The site is totally unresponsive to complaints from authors. The rejection notices are totally opaque. And the Authors forum is completely unhelpful because a large fraction of the regular posters here are self serving, condescending a-holes, only interested in putting down new posters and defending the site at all costs.

Stefan posted a legitimate complaint that all authors should be concerned about here, but instead had to spend a dozen posts defending himself.

Emily is not the only author to have stopped posting. In just six months being here, I got to know several great writers who used to post stories regularly. I know two of them have quietly moved on to other platforms because of the delays in approval and the rejections.

Meanwhile I see crap posted every day. The stuff AI produces is head and shoulders better than much of what I see regularly posted here. How is that system working? Why even bother to ban AI content?

There is no way to know what triggers the AI rejection, and it wouldn't work well if they told us that A or B alone won't, but A and B together will, while C alone will. Or in any combination with A ir B with C is a reject, and all three together are hard to reject with three exclamation marks.

I have a habit of repeating a phrase several times. I'm sure that's one thing that triggers rejections. I've had two now, took some repeats out of one, resubbed, and went through. Haven't touched the other one yet and may not ever do so.

A few things I know AI is bad at.

Lots of just, just enough, just enough to this that and the other. Then this, then that, then something else, and then. Hard enough to, fast enough to. Pushed to the edge, on the edge, at the edge, on the edge of the bed, just past the edge of resaon, then further.
All of these are repeated many, many, many times.

Did I say you said it? I said that it's the response people always get, and that it happened in the first page of this thread.

And it’s fucking hilarious you chose to go after me as opposed to the guy whose comments I was agreeing with 🤣.

That was simply because you made a personal appeal for respect, and articulated the reasons why a writer would reasonably object to this kind of response. That made for a better jumping-off point for my reply than the post you were agreeing with.

I think my post was pretty clear that it was criticizing the loudest contingent of posters rather than attacking you. At most I was calling on you to apply some introspection and empathy: "I don't like it when people do this to me, so I should speak up when they do it to others."

Maybe not even sexism. Just blindly copying those that they admire, for reasons unknown.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't know you from Adam (I'm not enough of a regular here to remember more than a very few "forum personalities"), and was responding solely to what you wrote.
