I appreciate your explanation of your intent with your story. When comparing it to LW’s usual daily glut of poorly written cuck stories, it wasn’t outrageous enough to be a caricature. I suppose you were surprised I actually liked it. Waiting for your next one, somehow I’m almost starting to like you.

Just my opinion, but I think almost everyone gives their honest scores, even the haters.

The ones who don't are those who merely open a story, then click to the end to 1-bomb it without even reading. Yes, there are some who hate me so much as to do just that. But I take solace in the fact even then that I'm entertaining them. Without me to hate, their lives would have no mean.

I just disagree with those who have yet to realize how much FUN they can have with sex and the right partner/s. It's really sad.

When writing the story, I took great pains to show the wife leaving her husband BEFORE she might ever cheat on him, and she took nothing more than the bare minimum the former stay-at-home-mom needed to survive after her divorce (only minimal financial support for six months until she could find her own job!) She realized she needed to get away from him, knowing he would grow to hate her, to protect her own sanity. And that is all she did, but somehow SHE "shattered" his life.

In the story, Paul's "shattered" life is of his own making due to his own choices (spying on her) and prudish attitudes (stopped kissing her.)

I've had other comments on the first version of the story, where they wanted to track down her new guy, Rick and torture him.

Anytime you write a story which draws out an emotional response, you get what you ask for. And attacking the story characters is reasonably expected as part of that emotional response.

I think the Admins draw their line when politics are brough into it, because they don't want their site leveraged for any political point. That would definitely polarize their audience, and potentially drive some away.

I think the admins draw a line also when the comments threaten the author. I had one comment deleted with an hour or two, when it said; "EAT SHIT AND DIE!"

Hating the characters in the story is far different than hating a specific, real, live person.

Now this is the type of feedback to give the authors! It highlights the parts of the story which the reader found offensive and detracting from their enjoyment. It described what the reader was hoping for. And it even ended on a positive and encouraging note!

I see that we have differing desires in the stories, yours being a die-hard BTB fan. But I'm more inclined to look at sex as enjoyable under far more than monogamous relationships.

Perhaps this is due to our different age and experiences. I've found that marrying "the love of your life and happily ever after" is a fantasy, and that time rapes us all, forcing unwanted changes on everyone. And once you've been raped by the ravages of time changing your spouse, you must find a way to survive. To me, that doesn't necessarily entail violence. As you saw in my story "Abuse Addict", sometimes, for a person who has seen too much violence, it's just time to move along.

The category title attracts different types of audience. I'd imagine we'd find the same disparity between the activities described in Gay, Lesbian, or Group Sex versus the same things in LW or EC. The category narrows down the audience. Then it's up to the author taking the hits for doing too much or choosing the wrong audience for the particulars.

That's why I've just decided to focus on the LW audience, and say "Fuck it! Do your worst!

Not a disparity at all. In those categories, you expect one party to be disrespected and trampled. Totally used and abused. There is a completely different mindset. The majority of incest stories are of more or less 'loving' interaction between family members. Some of the gay male or lesbian stories go both ways. I don't read those categories so I miss those stories unless a tag catches my attention, or more often I see the story listed in the favorites of one of my readers who made a comment.

I have strong opinions, and they are always consistent with my beliefs. I appreciate good writing, Lifestyle66, imhapless, Amyyum, and the like, even if I don’t like what they’re writing about. No disparity I’m my opinions.
