My Safe Place Thread

My editor is set to UK English for writing about Foxhunting, Cats, House Dogs and some of my other hobbies. I have to switch back and forth and often do not make the effort.

There are many things I love about you... and the language employed is part of the package... ❤

Gushy fawning fropes:devil:

I have already bred one of my beagles and will know if it took in about a week.

half of the rest are passing through their cycle now and are in the isolation area to avoid unknown/accidental breeding.

Nothing is worse than accidents, especially when incest hits the mob and the whelps are 100% inbred. 50% ok (sort of), 25% OK (sort of), but 100% never is good.

People who like their pigeon purer?
Pigeon is good.

Fish and chips IS a stolen cuisine is argued, and it's rather good done well, abysmal done poorly.

I had pigeon for the first time last year in York. Horrible. It was on a game platter, I enjoyed everything else though.

Fish and chips is stolen from who?

Dove tastes great and we have them by the hundred million. I enhance our local economy by buying and firing about 3000 shotshells in order to get my annual 12 doves for my annual dove dinner.

I ate at an English pub last week, Fish and Chips and was reminded of the exact reason that the English are known for stealing food from other nations rather than for their own cuisine.

We may try an Irish pub next weekend, but I have to buy some antiseptic, and an antibiotic before going into such a place.

Props for cuntress, that was great.

cunt.

Doves do taste great. A friend of mind looked at me horrified when I told her that a few years back. I almost felt bad. Almost.

You have to go to the North of England for good fish and chips. Same for steak puddings.

We have a great chippy near us, and I mentioned another good one that put lemon in the batter recently.

Is it true there is something called 'pea wet' as an option in the north😲

Fried fish seems an almost international thing, varied to degrees. I think of things like meat puddings ( incredible) bakewells, Sussex pond pudding and that ilk, as British. And maybe things like stargazey pie, Yorkshire pudding. Watercress . incredible cheeses. Mackerel and gooseberries. Rhubarb of gooseberry fool, lemon posset! No, there is some very good British food. :)

The Sunday roast without Yorkshire Pud is sacrelige. ;)
