The Old Republic: A new Era (limited spaces) *OOC*

He's probably working on the character right now, and he'll have it up within a few hours.

Name: Gavriel Burndigh

Age: 21

Sex: Male

Race: Human

Race Attributes: ...

Occupation: Jedi

Appearance: Dark brown hair, dark blue eyes, 6', 220 pounds

Weapons: Boot dagger, light sabre, under water breathing aparatus

Character Background: Gavriel was born on Dantooine, he lived a happy child hood and then one day two men dressed in brown cloaks showed up at their door, after a long discussion with his parents, they came to talk to Gavriel, telling him that they were Jedi and that Gavriel has been chosen to join them and that his parents already gave their consent, Gavriel didn't understand much, but when his mother told him that he would be gone for a while, but will be able to come home and see them again, he didn't feel that bad about it all. Gavriel was taken to the temple on Corusant where he started training in the ways of the Jedi and the Force.

At age 16 Gavriel was assigned to Master Shaar for his padawan training, they were stationed at one of the forward bases during the Clone Wars when Order 66 was issued, if Shaar didn't send Gavriel away at what seemed to be a fool's errand, Gavriel would have been killed along with his mentor. On the run Gavriel returned to the only place he knew he would be safe, the plains of Dantooine

True, but remember that Xi had no problem with training as there is not a price on the head of a Sith

Have a nice night Iro.

Eh...I wouldn't be too sure about there not being a price on the head of a Sith. They did have to spend the last few millenia in hiding, didn't they? :D

I cant wait to see the battles of these too there sure to be rivals and probably equal in force ability's for the most part. live a while till one gets lucky i could always make a new sith a jedi would be harder so we probably wont kill him off haha...

*evil laugh* Hehehehe.

interesting im the only registered non human haha jodo is unknown so if that counts then maybe not?

I told you, I'm not revealing anything out of character. You'll just have to keep guessing. :D

i have a horrible sense of waiting i hate surprises i like to know for sure hahaha but seriously this time im going to bed....

And dont forget that my main character would be able to slit a Sith's throat just as easily as a Jedi's :D

Then git to sleep. Stop worrying. It'll all work out for the better. Besides, the unknown element makes things interesting.

That would depend entirely upon the skill of the Jedi. Look at Boba Fett. He had a reputation as the best bounty hunter in the galaxy, but yet there were Jedi that bested him in combat.

But what I read about Aton Rand he could shield himself and get very close to a Jedi, before the Jedi would realize he is in trouble.

Hm...does seem that is true. But any Jedi worth his salt would know to not rely entirely on the Force when he has five other senses that work. However, there are probably ways of indirectly detecting presences with the Force, and a Jedi Master would be familiar with those ways.

Like I said, how readily your main can slit a Jedi's throat would depend on the skill of the Jedi.

Yes, well, with Sith, the more arrogant they are, the more likely they are to get their throat's slit while they sleep. :D

The point is, don't go thinking it's easy to slit the throat of every single Jedi or Sith. Do you think it would be easy to slit Yoda's throat (size not withstanding)? How about Darth Sidious' throat?

I'd think they are the guys who would send my character out to go do the hunting lol

Sidious definitely. Yoda...eh, not so much.

So, when and where are we starting? Has Order 66 just gone out or has it been a few years?

I think order 66 should just have been ordered. Then the Bounty's on jedi are plenty.the crime lords will get lots of people looking for jobs and all cause of the recent hysteria. Smugglers get jedi's looking to make a covert escape. Every one has something to do in this setting.

hey i wanna say this now i dont want any "over powered" guys in this be realistic sith and jedi will be among the hardest to kill as in the star wars universe every one else comes second.

Excellent.

However, that would require that the bio for DK's Jedi to be altered. Probably not much, but it'll work.
