I did my SAD light therapy before. I did approximately an hour of it, and on the highest setting. Now, I have a headache. I think that I'll try the middle setting next time.

I overheard two guys having a conversation about the logistics of Santa, were he real. And then an attractive woman walked by and one of the two said "I'd like to stuff something down her chimney" after she was out of earshot.

And now I'm kind of wondering which orifice qualifies as the chimney in this case.

This is not the rabbit hole my brain wants to be going down right now.

So, once again, the federal government is getting ready to lie to the American public, when NORAD will once again 'track' the movements of Santa in his sleigh as he traverses the world giving Christmas gifts.

It's all in good fun of course.

The tradition began in 1955, when when a misprinted phone number in a Sears ad led to children calling the operations line of the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD), NORAD's predecessor. Air Force Colonel Harry Shoup answered one of the calls and, to his surprise, found a child asking about Santa Claus. He assured the youngster that CONAD would guarantee Santa a safe journey from the North Pole.

He got the approval to direct his staff to set up a short TV spot for the news, showing how CONAD was tracking Santa. It proved so immensely popular that it became a tradition.

I’m just worried about a young man who had a cardiac incident at a race I directed this weekend. He’s in the ICU. He’s college aged. He was revived 3 times at the event. He’s breathing on his own, but not responsive. How long can someone be like that?
