Maybe somebody could start a thread called “What Amber needs to know”. People could then post the highlights so I could catch up on everything at my leisure

been here for what seems like eons.. a lot of people who used to regulars on threads and on PMs at different points of time have disappeared.. and i often wonder where they are..
i tend to have waves.. right now seems to be somewhere near the crest of one!! way too much time on here...
i was put off for a bit with the new site experience but then the threads and friends were too good to miss for too long... so re-skilled myself and here i am!!

I have been around years as well. I can take long breaks when I need to and I took almost two years recently. Nowadays I login every few days or so but I’m sure it’ll be more when I’m back to reality.

I log in and out for small windows of time throughout the day like wicker man, as activities in my world allow. I’m almost always multi-tasking. (No not e-boning and posting pervs.)

Lit is more a habit than a great joy/experience/knowledge bringer these days. I find most of that elsewhere.

I’ve come and gone from Lit many times, and had good breaks before which is always good for the mental health. This place and the dynamics can be really bad for the soul sometimes.

This strikes a chord with me too.

I came for information, found a world I didn't know existed. Jeez, a world full of folks that actually enjoyed sex and I don't mean, 'lay back and think of England' sex, I mean sex to blow your socks off sex! Boy it was fun and so are the people.

But, it's a double edged sword. It's wonderful it exists but it also makes me realise there's a huge void in my life that will, in all probability, never get filled. Probably for the best lol

So, I guess now, I'm about 20 mins, once or twice a day, having a quick catch up on the boards and replying to friends PMs.
